Before the big day, Dr. Edie or Dr. Pinkerton will meet with you and your child. As board-certified pediatric dentists, they have the expertise to create a tailored treatment plan that addresses your child's unique needs. They'll explain the procedure in detail, answer all your questions, and help guide you through collaboration with their primary care physician and specialists at the hospital to ensure the highest safety. This team approach ensures we're considering every aspect of your child's health.
During the treatment, Dr. Edie or Dr. Pinkerton will work alongside the hospital's anesthesia team and any other necessary specialists. Whether it's a complex dental procedure or managing a medical condition alongside dental treatment, you can trust that your child is in capable hands.
After the procedure, your child will be monitored closely in the recovery area. Dr. Edie or Dr. Pinkerton will meet with you to discuss how the treatment went and provide detailed aftercare instructions. They'll also coordinate with your child's other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to your child's recovery. We'll schedule follow-up appointments and make sure you have all the resources you need for a smooth healing process at home.
